Wood Park Whitlands Pinot Gris 2013
The Whitlands is located above the town of Whitfield in the southern hills of the King Valley. With an altitude of 800m, the cooler temperatures are ideal for growing Pinot varieties.
Gris means grey in French indicating that these grapes have a pink hue. The grapes are whole bunch pressed very gently to avoid picking up colour and any bitterness. The juice is fermented to dryness in a stainless steel tank and then bottled soon after it finishes settling.

Nose: Pear, green apple, floral notes and fruit spice
Palate: An intense full flavoured palate with apple, citrus and honey . The finish is long and lingering.
