The Warramate vineyard began in 1970, celebrating its 50 years this year. It is the younger sibling of the Yarra Yering winery, and the connection between the two estates continue today sharing the experience and expertise of winemaker, Sarah Crowe.
A medium-bodied wine, this Cabernet is a great one. It begins with an intensely perfumed nose, bursting with rich red fruits, before following on the palate with blackcurrant and sarsaparilla notes, earthy tones, and fine dusty tannins. Long-lasting on the palate, and overall very well-balanced, this pairs beautiful with food.
