Viberti has been around since the early 1900's, thanks to Antonio Viberti who acquired an inn and adjoining farm in the Vergne district of Barolo. They started making wine to simply serve in their trattoria. Over the decades, their wine making practices expanded and has since become a global phenomenon. The estate is now run by Claudio, the third generation since its opening.
With Nebbiolo sourced from several vineyards in the Langhe, this wine is kept in stainless steel for 10 months, followed by 3 months in oak. A medium-bodied wine, with a ruby-red colour, this Nebbiolo displays beautifully ripe fruits such as cherries, raspberries and strawberries. Mid-palate brings to light earthy and vanilla notes thanks to time in gentle oak. A younger style Nebbiolo, with soft tannins and good length.
Suitable for Vegans & Vegetarians.
