Murdoch Hill is 20 hectare winery located nearby the township of Oakbank, in Adelaide Hills. The family behind Murdoch Hill have been producing wine for over 20 years. They grow a number of grape varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
Bringing back the much loved, and classic Australian Shiraz Pinot blend, this one here is 70% Syrah grapes and 30% Pinot Noir. A medium-bodied wine, it is rich, juicy, and gamey. Add a bit of spice. Some soft tannins and texture too. Earthy, juicy cherry fruits, spice yet smooth and luscious on the palate. So much to be enjoyed about this one here.
