The story of Lome began in 2007 when dynamic duo Tim and Diane Robertson purchased a property in Harcourt North to start their winemaking adventure. They specialise in Rhone varietals, namely Shiraz, Viognier, Roussane and Marsanne. They practice minimal intervention wine-making.
This Rhone-like white blend is a combination of 45% Viognier, 35% Roussanne and 20% Marsanne. It's definitely a very lively and flavourful wine, with notes of honeysuckle, lime, pear and stonefruits at the forefront. There's a bit of floral and spice in there too. Overall, a very generous wine when it comes to flavour, with body and texture.
